IS IT TIME FOR ANOTHER MVP CAMPAIGN FOR LAMAR JACKSON?

Well it's getting close to the start of the NFL season which mean NFL future bets are the topic of conversation. Some of the most popular futures bets are NFC/AFC champions, Super Bowl champs, and the glorious MVP trophy. The award is 9/10 a QB award and this year I don't anticipate that changing. There's a couple names that come to mind. You have Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes, or even Joe Burrow. But the name I'm keeping an eye out for is Lamar Jackson. This year's cast of skill position players are by far the best and most talented group of weapons the sixth year QB has had. And that is not saying much lol... Now this group is legit though with newly sign OBJ and rookie wideout Zay Flowers headlining the new additions made to this offense. The YAC yards should definitely be improved with those moves made along with a healthy Rashod Bateman and brand new offense highlighted with all sorts of screen plays. I'm feeling a big season for the dual threat quarterback. He's even got some quality back up receivers in Duvernay and Agholor. If Monkton can pull the right strings with Lamar, he might have the MVP award for the taking. With this stacked receiving core, the 2nd best tight end in the league and the solid offensive line that they have there's no way he's not in the conversation. I even like the backup tight ends they've got stashed in their back pocket in Likely and Kolar. With all these mouths to feed it could be a little difficult to keep everyone happy, especially with a begrudged J.K Dobbins lurking in the backfield. Dobbins will get his touches no doubt about it. Todd Monkton ran a power run scheme at Georgia so its not like the running game will be forgotten about. But like the receiver position they have an embarrassment of riches so it could make appeasing they're bitter running back all that much harder. Luckily they have a great head coach in John Harbaugh who seems to do well in these situations so it will be interesting to see if he and the fantastic season they're about to have will keep these guys content. If I had to throw out numbers for what Lamar's season will look like I'd say about 4,500 yards, 45 total touchdowns, and around 750 yards on the ground. Let's throw 8 picks in there as well. Will that be enough to overcome some of these other fantastic quarter backs in the AFC I'm not sure, but I'm confident he will put up those MVP numbers. If not the MVP I'd bet Superbowl MVP. The Ravens are going to have a deep run in the playoffs.
